Hi yobuddy, hello to you all!
    ...and a good new year!

I'm so sorry to report that I did not get the new Epic Roller Coasters plugin to work yet. :(
I installed SimTools v3, tried to configure it and as it worked with NoLimits2 I think my setup should be ok.
But Epic Roller Coasters does not produce any reactions on the virtual axis display even though the game sends data. Simultaneously while observing the virtual axis I tested telemetry output to port 4123 with WireShark and it seemed to be ok ( at least ERCoasters sends data ).

I hope you don't stop to work on this issue. hug:

Many thanks for you hard work yobuddy!
    ...and best regards
    Rainer Arbinger.

    @yobuddy
    Hi yobuddy!
YES, tuning center - "Max/Min Tuning" - detects "Motion Inputs".
So, where did I make the mistake?

What do you max/min settings look like for the game - Max/Min Tuning page?
And what do your axis assignment settings look like for the game?
I way see something if you post a pic of each.
    Take care!

    Hi yobuddy!
I hope the pictures I took are the pics you wanted.
The second pic was taken while running Epic Roller Coasters.

Thanks so much for your efforts!

    Best regards
    Rainer.

Cool, looks like its working! (there is just no max/min settings for the game is all.)
What you need to do is start the game and once the ride starts, in the tuning center, click capture and then restart.
Let it find some max limits and near the end of the ride, click save.
You will then get output data.
    Take care!

    Cool!

After capturing the max/min data everything works.

Many thanks for your great work
    and patient help
    Rainer.

    @Rainer Arbinger,
I suggest removing the test plugin, and Installing the version from the repo.
Extra 4 thru 6 are fixed in the repo released version.
    Take care! :thumbs

There is also a console (manual) version of the plugin in the console repo.
The console version should work with the VR Android headset version of the game.
    Take care!

    Hi yobuddy!
I'm glad that your awesome plugin made its way to the official repo.
I installed it and it worked out of the box.
    Great! :cheers

    Servus yobuddy!

Sorry, I got no explicit Android headset ( dont`t know if my Oculus Quest1 runs Android )
so I tried with my Quest1.

First glance at the Epic Roller Coaster plugin from the console repo.
After installation there are two similar thumbnails for EpicRC plugins - one from the pc repo and another from the console repo.
Each of them starts the same PC installed ERC program ( when double clicking the play symbol ) and there seems to be no way to distinguish the corresponding plugin thumbnails and plugins from each other.

Started Epic Roller Coaster on my Quest1, set telemetry output to the PC running SimTools.
WireShark reports data on port 4123 from an IP that should be my Quest1 headset.

    But then...
I don't know how to activate the proper plugin version and "connect" it to a "plain" UDP input on
port 4123. So I got no "Motion Inputs" in the tuning center.

I must admit that I have not learnt the SimTools v3 manual by heart yet.
So if I can find the answers there just gimme a kick in my a.. an tell me to rtfm! ;)

    Take care! :)
... and don't hurry and don't work too much!! ;)

Try removing the ERC PC game plugin and then restart SimTools.
Then see what happens with the Console version.
(It uses the default epic port 7701 for the console version btw.)
I should be able to make them both work if installed, but give this a try first and see what happens.

hello. I was trying to install the epic roller coaster plugin. but I had a problem that I want to share and it is the following: once I install the plugin, it does not appear in the Game Manager list. It didn't happen to me with the previous Epic plugin. I clarify that I have the firewall disabled. Attachment screenshot.
Thanks in advance for any possible solution or guidance.

As I understand it the plugin is for SimTools v3 beta, and is not compatible with SimTools v2.

Yes! This plugin is for SimTools v3!
I tested it with v3 and for me it works perfectly.
    Best regards

You took the time to create the plugin, so I will take the time to test of course. :thumbs

    Hi yobuddy!
Sorry, today I didn't have much time for testing.

I removed all ERC plugins, changed the port on the Quest headset to 7701 and started ERC, but could not see any reaction of the virtual axis. As there was no more ERC plugin installed, I found no way to open the tuning center for watching the "raw" input.

Í reinstalled only the console version of the ERC plugin and ran the same test - this time Í could open the tuning center for the plugin but detected no motion inputs.
Btw. Also the console plugin started the PC installed ERC when double clicking the play symbol.

    What Í don't understand is:
How could SimTools perform any data processing when no corresponding plugin is active ( like in my first test )?
How can I activate a plugin manually as they start when a game is started, or they start the game, when double clicking the play symbol?

I'll do more testing ( and reading the manual ;) ) this weekend.

    Have a good day!
    Rainer.

It can't, you need at least 1 plugin.

It's just a bug, I will get it fixed later today.
I found a little bug in the pc version to that will get fixed up later also.
