We try mate, we are not like the others. We take pride in ourselves for that mate.

Look how many new sims have come to life here since the release of SimTools.
Wish I had kept track of the numbers , its proof that all of @yobuddy 's hard work has brought life to all kinds of simulators with all kinds of systems used, including rebuilding many existing sims that ran competitor's software once using SimTools they have never looked back.
This is why I'm so passionate and protective of this great system my apologize for anyone I have upset on the way.

SimTools rulz the DIY Motion world for sure.

    Thanks @yobuddy.

P.S oops nearly forgot about our grandmaster Game Plugin man , we couldn't have done it without you , big Thanks goes to @value1

    Hi all,

Here goes my reputation as a new guy on this forum but I'll add my opinion on the topic. I have participated in my share of "open source" projects that were billed as community efforts for everyone's benefit. In nearly every case, as soon as the project looks promising, a guy or two take off with it, make it "proprietary" by painting it a different color and sell it for profit. The lure of money is too much for some folks.

Perhaps the language or intensity in the response can be calibrated differently but I have to agree that opening with "need help for something, but can't tell you the details" does sound like it's going in the same direction mentioned above.

In this case, however, help is being requested for a "kickstarter" project which is mostly accepted as a general idea presented to a community to raise funding for it. A group of people with interest in seeing a product made available, fund it. Period. It is, or could be, a fully closed and commercial product. That intention should be disclosed upfront so there's no misinterpretation on effort put in by community members. Else, it might belong as a "for-hire" ad in the Marketplace section.

    Regards,
    JR
