I use 10 K linear pots and they have 3 connections. I will try to change 5v and GND

When I start the LFS demo, the outgauge plugin doesnt seem to find the game... does it need to be in a right folder or something.

another thing how do you get the chair in center position. Should is be in center after autorun?

Yes, it should be centered after autorun/calibration...
Do you get the error message still?

Click on default setting, to place the sliders in the middle! -> Then press move simulator

Why do I have to iterate this every time...

What happens exactly when you press the autorun button?

Have you interchanged GND an 5V? Are the pot values displayed correctly now?

You have to fix this (centering), before you go on with LFS.

BTW, you should use desktop twister...

I changes the 5V and the ground and that help on the orther side, but not this one

The Chair goes fine UP... I press OK and it goes fine DOWN, I press OK and it goes fine to the LEFT. I press OK again and it goes fine to the RIGHT. Then come the message above and the chair stays in the RIGHT position.

But when I force the chair around without air on the valves the red dot on the map seems fine?

Okay just tryed it again and this time no errors... but it still ends in right position, not center.

When you put your sim in center position manually, is the red dot in the middle then?

Yes it is.

Ok, then go on with LFS. We have to wait for Sirnoname.

The g-forces for accelleration are the longAccelleration values in outgauge, and the lateral g-forces are the latAccelleration values in outgauge. This is enough for now. Try to setup these 2 g-forces.

As far as I remember, they have to be inverted both in the profiler...

You should begin with the longitudal g-forces.

Please do a little test!

tell me the max and min values of your pots in the demo application. But just by moving your seat up/down and left/right.

In the demo it is:

UP = 58
DOWN = 226
LEFT = 222
Right = 52

I dont understand how you setup the values in the profiler.

What can I read from the outsim that I can use in the g force effeckt. I get the effeckt number, but how do I find the min and max? Is that buy trying?

If you leave the dont use auto max button unselected, these boxes will be filled automatically.

The prob with the calibration is, that your pots travel not enough. You need round about 10-255.

Try to move the positions of the con-rods, until you get more pot travel!

If the differece between the min and max values is to low, the Profiler cancells the calibration. Thats the reason why it does not center after calibration.

Okay, I have ordered some new pots a bit smaller, they should fit better.

Do you know how long pots other SimforceGT builders have used?

Illi made a simiilar one, but afaik without pots. Dont know if he added them already.

But, couldnt you change the postion of the rods or the pots a little, to achieve a longer travel? Should be possible imho...

I tryed to move it around and see what I could get more, but couldnt find enough. And the one Í use now dont use 15-20mm of the slider so the new one would be more right.

With this trick you enter some calibration values without doing an autorun

Many pots have been tested, and most of them are crap. If pulling/pushing the slider slightly sideways, no output value was readable anymore^^

So the min and max should be the values I have from the demo?.
UP = 58
DOWN = 226
LEFT = 222
Right = 52

I think my sliders are good enough quality, went I push and pull while pressing sideways on it, it still look stable in the k8055D demo.

Yes. But just for testing. With this method you dont get enough positions.

But you have either to replace the pots or to place the con-rods somewhere else to ensure the full pot travel!

I have just check my reg and they are changed already.
