    Hey mate, great thread! .. love your traction loss setup. I'm definitely going to be doing the same.
    Got some questions for you.
    1. How heavy do you reckon your current rig is?
    2. How many moto monsters are you using? .. 1 per motor?

    I use 1 MM per motor so I have 3 in total. And it is heavy lol I have no idea of actual weight.

    @nachofly Welcome !

    Yes you need to do lots of reading of the forums, also don't forget the FAQ section lots of good information there too.

    Good luck with your build :)

    RIP my little one time for an upgrade and i'm afraid I need your motors. Its been emotional

    New topic to follow once I finish the sketchup, which I can say has been an experience in itself to learn how to use but I got it hooked up to SimTools and everything working.

    @noorbeast The motors I have have a label on saying 125w 13.5 amps 100rpm however I think they are much more than that. I have 13cm arms on them at the moment and I have had a clamp meter on they are pulling more than 30-40amps . Even with hours of use they don't get hot they are just warm. I have no idea why they are labelled so low I'm sure they'd pull 60-70amps if I had the power supply and mm's to try. I can't even turn the power in scn to the top as they cut the psu's cut out all the time I think it is only set at 180 at the moment. I have new 65amp psu's for the new build and also 2 xmm's per motor.

    They are big motors so I think they will easily cope with the platform weight that I will make.

    All will be revealed soon. :D

    @nachofly What gearbox are on those motors. The specs look good but I'm not an expert at all I just try stuff and if it works it works.

    I'm not a pilot no lol. Wish I was, I do like casual flight simming but not too serious.

    The performance does indeed suggest the stated specs are way off. Are they easy to come by, as many European members are looking for suitable motors?

    They are Italian make and they are not cheap, but I take them out of dead bits of machinery at work so guess I'm little lucky. Although been hard to come by as of late.
