    Some help needed!

In the FS2020 forums me and others decided to make some pressure on Microsoft/Asobo to enhance the data available for FS2020. Would be great if we get some more posts and likes there: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/simconnect-and-motion-platforms/239261?u=flypt9659 Just put something saying you support and look for the best data from the best sim... let's try to make them evolve simconnect that might have almost 30 to 40 years...
All motion softwares can benefit from it!

Would be great to get some help also with WRC. Just posted this:
If you want to help on getting motion for WRC9 and other products by them, you can help by requesting the same here: https://www.kylotonn.com/en/contact-us/
If we want the best, we have to ask for it or they wont do it.
    Thanks.

Just tried it, works great. I am more familiar with DCS than P3D but I will tweak the pose a bit to dial it in. Thanks for creating this! And I did follow your link and ask for better output for motion sims. :thumbs

I have 6DOF rotating hexapod, with 3 Arduino Mega 2560, Each controlled 2 step motors BH86 Closed loop with encoder. I fly in real on Mi-8AMT

If you fly helicopter in real could you please do for us a phyphox experience on it. You just need a small cam and your smartphone with you

Ok, I try to do this for you. I know how to use phyphox.

I can ask the pilots to record telemetry from the Robinson R66. the Dynamics of the helicopters will probably be different. Unfortunately, we do not have helicopters with coaxial propellers. We are rescuers

If you already provide R66 and Mi, that will be a gold mine of information

In General, with the mi-8 will be within a week, and with the R66 November, early December, I will fly it myself and record. Something like this. Question do I need telemetry with video or just what phiphox will record? Our pilots don't understand what I want from them. I'll have to do everything myself. Sorry my English not so good.

Syncing outside view cam with smartphone screen recorder is the best. You just have to synchronize both with a comp after your flight.

For the screen recorder, the best is to set an interval of 5s. There is an option for that in phyphox (just run it for the time interval of your choice than make a pause and set “follow the data” for both gyroscope and Accelerometer.

    Edit:
You can make the sound ON on your smartphone screen recorder as well as in your outside view cam. Than it’s really easy to synchronize both.

I recently came across these alternate 6dof geometries:
    1-s2.0-S0924424716305349-gr1a.jpg Hexapod_2.4MB-600x491.jpg
Would it be possible to support those geometries in mover? I like the fact that they use fixed length rods and linear slides that are fixed to the base and therefore don't have to move themselves and also contribute to the weight of the base. Also one could use some variant of this very common linear slide design as actuator

Yes, I also looked at them.
    It's easy to add.
The problem with them is that you get an extra joint like you have in rotating rigs, but they allow for a compact solution

Are you sure? A linear actuator that is used in a "standard" stewart platform is also a prismatic joint.

These are considered close to the rotary actuators because of the joint that has different "rod" speed depending on the angle...

Hi.. I am a brand new user of Mover. I am trying to get FS2020 motion. I have Mover controlling my 3dof rig but I am not getting any output from Mover when running Fs2020. I have added the P3D module. Do I need a working copy of P3D installed on the computer for this to work??
    Thanks

I do not have P3D on my PC and FS2020 is working with Mover.

Did you start your flight before starting Pmvcda's connection program?

Like @Historiker says, follow the order:

    - Start flight
    - Start FlyPT FS2020 .exe
    - Now you can connect in Mover (with P3D)

In the same location of the FlyPT FS2020.exe, you need to have the Simconnect.dll

It works well, specially now that the simconnect bug was solved (fps problems), but received data has strange values.
It's good, but for who takes it deeper, data is completely flawed in terms of physics, like getting a constant acceleration with the plane parked in the ground.

I believe I have not set up mover correctly yet as I can see some data on the source screen but no motion output.
sorry for the poor screen shot but the print screen would not capture all the windows.
