    Hi everyone,
    There is a way to emulate an acceleration ramp? Sice my rig has long extension and hight speed I need control the acceleration time in order to exploit thiese performance trying to recreate the G force.

    Hi @pmvcda !
    Last week I downloaded the h-135 and h-145 helicopter from hype performance group and now I try to work out a good motion profile for this helicopters.
    One thing I was not able to solve, is getting some kind of motion that corresponds to the rotor-rpm. I tried to use the rpm output from msfs20, but this is the rpm of the gas-turbine, that is around 30000 rpm - so much too high for the rotor-rpm.
    In "pose from rpm" I can not set a filter in order to transform or divide this rpm down to a slower rotor rpm. For examle 1/1000.
    Maybe there is any solution or workaround for this? Would be really great ! Thanks!

    Over 800mm you can accelerate at 9,81 during 04s. BUT at this point you’ve used the whole travel and you didn’t start to decelerate.

    so if the max speed of an actuator is 1m/s we can simulate 1G acceleration over a displacement of 5cm. That’s the limit.

    I think you just have to select the right filter for the job. For longitudinal acceleration that should be an H1L2 type of filter (as I call it) or "EMALP(EMALP(EMAHP(Value)))" as it is described in Mover.
    This filter system will effectively feel like an acceleration ramp together with a "washout".

    Try it out... let me know how it feels.

    Btw, are you that death defying dude sitting on this GINORMOUS (!) monster of a super-long-stroke 6DOF rig that rattles like a bag of steel tubes that I saw on YouTube? :-D

    @pmvcda - In FS2020 when I lift the front wheel in Cessna the back of the platform is lifting. Do we need an inversion in the suspension module ? Could we double check it ?

    Hello

    I want to go from the old flypt to the new one (I know I'm late) but I have a few questions, is it correct that the zero position used to be in the middle of the actuator and now is at the botom? I used to use a USB output to the odrives and I want to do this again, do I still have to use a certain number of bits to output the position?

    This (1G) you can achieve only over couple of centimeters, than you will reach the top speed of your actuators and the rest of the motion will have a constant speed (not constantly accelerated speed).

    To measure if you reach 1G, the best way is to measure it with phyphox software on your smartphone. Just attache the phone on your rig and see if 1G is reached.

    Hi all. I am really a newbie at motion platforms, but a planning a DCS rig. My concern is the VR compensation. Long story short, if I cant get that to work, it will significantly influence my way forward. If not, I will stick to very small translations to reduce the shifts, while still experiencing some accelerations and vibrations. I have followed the instructions but don't note anything while in DCS with OVRMC running. It however seems this is done via steamvr. I use an occulus so it uses native support and not steam. Is this my problem?
