I would be willing to be a beta tester of the new version if you wish/need. I have 5 buttkickers in my setup and could test the channels.

Pardon if this has been asked before, I couldn't find anything in this thread trying to search. I'd like to try FlyPT to drive my rig, but it doesn't appear that it can interface too easily directly with Pololu's JRKs.

The serial interface requires some interesting bitwise operators to combine the second half the desired position bits with the command bit, before sending the first half of the position bits. I see no way in FlyPT's output UI to do any bitwise operations in order to accomplish this. I could presumably use the 'low resolution' mode to send rough positions to the JRKs but given my setup I don't think that's going to give me enough resolution.

Has anyone figured out a way to get FlyPT to drive JRKs?

    Hi,

Right now I think it's not possible. Need to take a better look at the protocol.
But for the next release we can do operations. So I will add and/or/not/shl/shr... to do the bitwise operations.

    Hi Marco,

Been short in time, but if I get the data, I can add it to Mover.
Can you post links for both sims?
I think this is one of them: https://store.steampowered.com/app/273730/Driving_School_Simulator/
but don't know of City Cas Simulator...

    Hello Pmvcda
Thank you for prompt reply, yes as Noorbest said the other one is City Car Simulators
    https://store.steampowered.com/app/493490/City_Car_Driving/
this one is the most important, the other one "Driving Car Simulator" you can wait to developer the source.

    Thank you a lot

@pmvcda Hi. I'm able to work on my inverted hanging Rig again. Man I have forgotten a bunch. Should come back to me!
Any chance of getting another Rig added? I have a hanging 6dof. One less thing to get confused about.

    Hi all,
I've recently (mostly) finished my 6DOF hexapod build designed predominately for flight sims. So far I've concentrated on MSFS2020 in VR.
For simplicity I thought I might start with a C172. I have something working ok, but there is much room for improvement.

I've lent heavily on Zen's profile in FlyPT. Thank you! But looking to build further.

Does anyone have an MSFS2020 profile for a C172 or similar GA ?

    Thank you.

    Hi Pmvcda,

I just gave 3.6.0 Beta 3 a try and have found what seems to be a very strange new behavior which corrupts SteamVR. This doesn't occur under the exact same scenario with the 3.5.3 release.

    In use:
    Mover 3.6.0 Beta 3
    OVRMC
    motionpose / virtual tracker
    Latest version of SteamVR
    rFactor2
    Index HMD
    * Motion compensation enabled

While motion compensation is enabled all runs great until you crash the car engaging the Thanos spike filter. This causes the HMD view to freeze (in a precarious angle) as well as the flat screen mirrored view. The game and SteamVR continue to run. Exit the game and SteamVR shows up on the HMD but it is also frozen in place. A restart of SteamVR resolves the issue. This behavior is 100% reproducible as long as you run 3.6.0 beta 3 AND enable motion compensation. If motion compensation is disabled the problem does not occur. Once again this behavior does not exist under 3.5.3.

Based on the trigger being a somewhat violent motion along with spike filter engagement I assume this has something to do with Mover's coordination with OVRMC and possibly resetting of coordinates, etc.. Something has changed which triggers this behavior from 3.5.3 to 3.6.0 beta 3.

    Thanks
    Chris

One thing that annoys me about DCS is the lack of turbulence feel during flight. Flight is way too smooth. MSFS2020 however, is great in this regard.

Does anyone who uses DCS have a suggestion on how to create a fake random turbulence effect during flight? Maybe only activating during certain altitudes?

Is this project still alive? Doesn't seem to be much happening in the forums anymore..

Is there a better motion program that people are using instead?
