    Hello !
I have a 6dof linear actuators and I have some problems with MFS2020 and FLypt.
My 6 dof works with M4S and Flypt.
The image freezes at times, from two to a few seconds.
Sometimes it resumes as normal, sometimes FlyPt no longer sends movements to the simu, sometimes the simu goes to safety,
sometimes, but more rarely, there is a general crash on the blue screen.
This problem occurs with stock aircraft but more so with Azurpoly's Transall.
Sometimes Flytp crashes and produces this type of message.

Apart from using the simu MFS2020 works perfectly without any freeze, lag or crash.
Flypt not being updated since 2021 this would explain it, unless I am the only one to have this problem ?.
What do you think please ?

It's just because sometime your pc can't connect to internet, the mover send and receive some data through internet. Just click continue some times.

Usually when this happens I get out of Flytp and restart it.
I suspect that the freeze problem also comes from simconnect. The new MFS2020 update currently underway may provide a solution, so I'll finish it and run some new tests.

After updating the MFS2020, I ran another test. Here's what the update does for simconnect:

Before starting the flight, I changed the FTP start order: before it started before MFS, now after when the aircraft is prepared and the VR started. I flew for 30 minutes without any freeze or lag, nice!
Except that suddenly the 6dof went into safety (brakes locked) and returned to the starting position following this famous crash, which I was able to photograph this time:

I just tested... it seems to be more like a lateral force option... not a traction loss...

Which cue do you call « traction loss » exactly, is it « Yaw Velocity » ? If that’s it, check if the game outputs it, in which case you can simply map it on your Yaw axis.

Hello @pmvcda ! Just wondering about the state of FlyPT mover..

As it sits now, the latest version 3.5.3 was released almost 2 years ago. After spending so much on a home rig, which while i was designing it FlyPT seemed to have quite regular updates, it worries me that it has been stagnant so long.

This would not be much of an issue because it all works so well right now, but the list of sources is hard-coded in and cannot be added or modified by users. Over time there are and will be new and updated games that output telemetry and the current list of sources won't be able to communicate to them.

I have seen some posts about your upcoming versions, and while UI changes are welcome, i would sleep better at night knowing that the latest version can keep on working for me long into the future with user-extensible source modules.

If there is an issue with no longer having time to work on it, as i know life has a way of screwing up plans, please consider putting out the 3.x branch to open source while you continue to develop 4.0.

Thanks for all you've done so far! -smitty

AFAIK in worse case you can write your plugin in sim tools (there might be some limitations) and use Mover’s SimTools socket. Of course many are still waiting for mover 4. I hope it will appear at some point.

I would also petition for an open source route for the FlyPt. There are a number of talented and dedicated people out there who can keep this software alive. This tool-set has all the functionality needed to truly fine tune a motion rig and it is a shame that it may go the route of the dinosaurs if not maintained by the original developer. Please open it up to the community.

Started getting the same error today. Looks like a failure to connect to a profile sharing site in Portugal. FlyPT server down?? Will recover if you just continue from the exceptions. Annoying but not fatal.

Exactly the same problem, just wasted an hour trying to figure this out, then spotted the comments here.
