hello friends :hi: , I saw this car elevator that uses that system and has an integrated 12 volt motor, it may not work but this model is to extend the ideas ... might be another model, or buy one without an engine hoist and put the engine wear, Greetings! :cheers thumb.png

Did you find a good deal for your ball screw ? do you have a link, please ?

@Christianr3 : or you can have a look here OSLV http://www.oslv.com/microactuators/151-1-en.html

    110 € + tax
    but they are not irreversible
and i was wondering about their low duty factor ...

Well at 5mm/s way too slow, might explain the duty cycle.Motor range of torque to drive the screw when weighted.

Yes, speed under load is the most important and often not given...

in 24V and 1:12 gear ratio, it gives more : 18,5mm/s
but I agree it gave up this approach because it was not enough

I posted this because maybe someone knows a similar but better product ?

Easier to build your own lineer actuator mate and works out cheaper too.
In the middle of a design, just on pause for Sim Tools testing and writing, hence I threw a seat mover together in a couple of hours to test motion in Sim Tools.

That's fantastic man! I procrastinate longer than that before I even get started. And now I have a basic functional sim I spend more time fiddling and fine tuning than actually finishing off the missing bits (traction loss). Anyway at least we're all having fun and that's what it's all about.

It should be fine for flight sim use. Perhaps not racing. Still, the thread here is about a flight sim.

    Hi,
Following your Diskussion I Would like to Add that I checked Several Drivers too but didn t find a driver that fit to our sim specifications. This was the Reason why i tried to Design my Own driver which should optimize the following: Duty Cycle, Pay Load , Speed, Price

Attached you will find the link for the ballscrew:

    Best regards

Will be my next choice on a build.
I have one just need the funds to buy a sabetooth to begin a test, and yes you can by a usb adaptor and can be software set by its own config program.
