    FTDI has the best driver options so I would vote it best overall. Prices vary but in general the FTDI module is double the cost of the Silicon Labs module though. But double still isn't much.

    It's excellent that you can set the latency and read/write timeouts.

    Mine came free with Kangaroo. Has the Lpc1346F Chip set on it.

    I received mine free with the kangaroo also. But the company says its only free for the first 100 customers so everyone won't get one. I don't see anything special about the DELink2 USB to ttl lever converter. Since Dimension Engineering wants $25 for theirs, I would go with one that's under $10 instead if I didn't get in on the freebie.

    Ok @BlazinH I would have to agree with that, when I was talking with them on the other website they were going to incorporate one into the overall price. Bugger glad I got mine, but a couple of links for others of any units that have been tested and confirmed working could be placed into your tutorial. Could be handy for newbies.

    That's true. DE told me the next kangaroo model with have a built in usb interface. But while customer support told me it would be out probably 1st Qtr. of 2014, DE's owner told me probably 3 Qtr. so we still may have a while to wait.

    Hi RaceRay et All,

    Here is what I managed to get out of the crash detail.
    The main window simply says its a SystemOutOf memory exception (from .Net)
    See below my message.

    I'm running Win7 on an i7
    SimTools version - R1
    Game - rfactor

    However it happens on NoLimits rollercoaster as well.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:
    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>
    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

    Hi all,

    i still have Game Manager crashing sometimes. I changed my USb converter for one with a cp2102 chip, i changed baud rate for 9600 (instead of 115200) but it's the same.

    For the moment never in game (i don't play a long time constantly). I let the 2 software of Simtools open and when i came back to my computer, Game Manager is close. :( (In 90% of the case)

    Edit: i run with V1.1
    It just happened in game (RF2). The axes begin to have some strange movement and after they stop because Game Manager is close.
