I am not aware of a video guide, but there is some basic information in the FAQs: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/consoles.27/category

Perhaps some other member knows of more detailed posts.

Hi, I'm relative new and I'm studying the software before start to assemble my first DIY 2DOF or 3DOF to play GT7 on PS5.
With success I run the GT7 proxy and I see the telemetry data, so everything ok.
Now on SimTools v3 I wanna try the Virtual Output like one of the youtube videos of @vthinsel.
I installed the GT7 Game Plugin, the "Plugin Builder" of Virtual Plugins and "Generic 2D standard" of Axis Plugins, I set the axis for a 2 DOF like in the SimTools manual, but at this point I'm not able to run the Game Plugin. If I push on the white start button in the middle of the game plugin nothing happen and the Virtual Output doesn't work. I have no setted any Interface setup because in this moment I haven't real
    peripheral. Is it ok?
    Someone can help me?
    Thank you in advice

Have you patched the Plugin first (only one time) ?

Sorry, I am using Simtools 2.x but you need to "patch" a plugin the first time.
Not sure if this needs to be done also in Simtools 3.x

Please read the v3 Quickstart and Manual, some games need to have the path specified, which is what is meant by patching a game for motion:

    https://simtools.us/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/QuickStart-Guide-for-SimTools3.pdf

    https://simtools.us/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/SimTools-v3.pdf

I don't have GT7 but presume you are using this plugin, is that correct: https://simtools.us/plugin/?varname=30&color=0e97dd

If so what does it give as a guide during activation, because if a patch path is required it should prompt for that?

    I've already followed the guide.
The patching note is to use the GT7 proxy and as I have already wrote I'm using it.

    Hello

I developed a Windows installer for GT7PROXY. With it, everything became easier. Now we have:
    - Correct visualization of telemetry data in the terminal in Win10
    - Graphical interface for IP configuration and recording
    - Startup with Windows
    - Automatic startup
If you are interested in testing it, just download it from the drive below:
