It would be great Marxman if you would be able to improve this plugin.
I tested it only a little for now but i had a strange feeling while racing but didn't know what it was.
After i read your post and you pointed a potential problem with 'delay' i understood better my feeling while driving...anyway i think you are right about this is probably not the only problems with this plugin.

These are all the GPL exe files for most common mods. Gem+ creates these files and start up the mods.
And I agree that motion can be better. It is a bit delayed and arratic.

I don`t think the problem is in exe files or versions.
Besides having to switch mod exe files to GPL.exe the base plugin is broken. In the first released plugin GPL was working ok with sway and surge for me, using Windows 7. After upgrading to Windows 10 and trying GPL The motion is very erratic. But mostly the problem is the delay of about half a second.
The delay makes it unusable. @value1 it would be very nice if you can have a look the delay problems.

I'm digging up this topic.

After testing it seriously i can say, for myself, this plugin works well on Windows 10.

I succeed in making a modification on the plugin with the software 'dnspy' to make the plugin workable with the 'gplc67.exe' so i thought then i could be able to enjoy the plugin in online multiplayer mod as it is the file 'gplc67.exe' which is used through iGOR.exe.
After testing My modification plugin 'gplc67.exe' it works as well as 'gpl.exe' and i can feel all the different forces.

Unfortunately i noticed there is a big issue for the multiplayer gameplay.

I tested the plugin for 'gpl.exe' & 'gplc67.exe' in Multiplayer and i have same results.
If a game is created as Host the both plugin works well and if we join a game as client for both plugin nothing happen, the plugin doesn't work anymore.

I tested in LAN and i tested online with iGOR and i have exactly same results...
IN MULTIPLAYER, AS HOST THE PLUGIN WORKS, AS CLIENT THE PLUGIN DOESN'T WORK !

Maybe i thought it could come from Firewall or maybe with opening port online so i made a changed with these but nothing changed.
I don't think Value1 is active anymore here so unfortunately i don't feel anybody would modified this plugin to make it works for Multiplayer game.
It is very sad because there is still a big community playing GPL online and the feeling with this plugin is very pleasant especially with the feeling of the traction loss which is not possible with the generic Joystick plugin.
If a plugin is created for SimTools V3 don't forget to test the multiplayer as there is a problem with it on the plugin for SimTools V2.

If a nice guy is able and want to take time to modify this plugin for grand prix legends for SimTools V2 to make it playable online it would be fantastic.
