    my actuators were alive today!
    i saw them work!
i got them to go up and down with the SMC3 utility.
i just have to get the simtools and LFS test working.
    to be continued..
    very excited!

when i move actuators with the output testing, it is ok... just cant get any values from the LFS!

Did you run a race in first person mode before patching, as that generates some required files.

If not then unpatch LFS, shutdown SimTools, run a race in first person mode then repatch.

Nice pictures. So well organized and labeled.

My project is now set back :(
i come to see that my bottom frame may have the wrong dimensions.

when i prop up my actuators, i see that at when my actuators are at bottom height, i get 60 degrees between acuators at the heim joints.
it was suggest that it should be at 60 degrees when the actuators are at middle position
i tried to make heads and tails when using @pmvcda 's hexapod diagram and silentchill gave me some thoughts..

but to sum it up in a picture, this is what i understand to be the main dimension of the bottom platform..

    need thoughts.. @wannabeaflyer2 @Flymen @Pierre Lalancette @SilentChill

    thank you!

    Hi ,
See dimentions from FlyPT Hexapod If you are going to measure in the rig, it's easier specifying the dimensions (L1 to L4).
Look at figures to guide you.
Remember, those measures should be made between the center of rotation of the joints.
    My mine are : L1= 1240 , L2= 125 , L3 = 180 , L4 1220 ,
    Middle : 1170 and range 210
Each arms have about 60 degrees at middle position .

i studied your picture during the summer..
i thought i knew what i was looking at, apparently not lol
i tried to match silent chill's, sixdegreeofflight dimension, thinking i couldnt go wrong.. but i was wrong
as you mention, 60 degrees at middle position is key. thanks.. @Flymen !
