I have ordered these pots for my rig,any objections? Will it do with the proper gearing?

I've found these gears on EBay, as you can see it's 15t and 83t,shouldn't that be perfect for a 3 turn potentiometer? There's also some slipper clutch I thought I could use to protect the pot's from over turn?

continuous single turn pot 360 deg, never breaks from overshoot.
I used to use the gear method myself with 3 turn pots, until I moved to 360 deg pots.
No need to use gears, connect the pot on the back of the motor shaft.

But did you feel a difference, when you changed?

I could not notice a difference even in fine motion.
Reason I changed is that it costs me $26 for 360 deg pot as opposed to $8 for gears and $35 for 3 turn pot, which could still break if it overshoots far enough.360 deg pot made sense for cost. Performance, negligible.

Nice build! I'm wondering what kind of thickness you have on the steel tubes?

Might as well be iron tube, makes no difference in stiffness, but, fortunately, stainless is my profession, so that's what is on the material shells!

I see. Just wanted to know the size of the tube you are using. It looks so much better with stainless, good job so far!
