I would like to know about a motion sim, that can be built simply

    Have you gone through the threads on DIY projects? Most of them work on balanced pivot point. So yes , back amd forth , left and right.
    Im guessing you have not spent much time digging around here.....

    Caught me rattler but I did do some digging but it was overwhelming and didnt know one that supports Oculus, if someone can point me to the right direction.

    3DOF, DC motor, JRK
    I consider VR needs fast accurate motion of 200+mm/sec. Otherwise you risk latency and that is the last thing you want in VR.

    Is the intent to use a pivot or rely on total lift. What is the all up load of the chair plus user(s)?

    Personally I would go with with spring assist for 375 kg, to keep costs down.

    I am guessing you have a particular chair picked out that significantly contributes to that weight? Just noting that unnecessary weight significantly contributes to the cost of moving it.

    well I should say 300 KG I was kinda going overboard for heavier people
