Thanks for the word of accoutrements Chucky P! Very helpful observation of the sway. I will fix it... Yes, the original plan is that the platform is for the silver arrow F1 car (see my avatar). I'm just testing the platform on my small scale and try to learn as much as I can how to build the motion sim. Now, the I'm on the right track, thanks to you guys, my next move is to convert this 2DOF to 3DOF. I think I'm ready to buy the License. Cheers!

Great to see your rig in action :thumbs

I am not sure of your current axis assignments and settings but sway should be set to lean away from a corner and roll should be set the opposite of sway.

I finally got my axis assignment pretty much fine-tuned. Now that I'm getting used and feel the effect of the motion sim racing, I have question about adding another axis on my rig. Do I need the third axis to feel the real effect of the sway? Here's why... I feeling like my car was tipping over. But when I reviewed the replay, my car was actually sliding (which is was oversteering). Is the sway part of oversteer and understeer?

I am not sure what you have or have not set, so please post pictures of all of your settings.

SimTools mixes all axis on the fly, and can even simulate the heave and surge axis that a 2DOF does not have, same with a sense of sliding if the motion profile is refined, the rig can't actually slide but it can help give you a sense that you are. To do it for real you need to add a traction loss axis.

Ok, I cannot post any pictures right now, I'm away from my rig. It will be sometime tonight, my time (US central time). Thanks for the quick reply!

That looks pretty good. But if you have the Pitch DOF reversed on one motor you should have it reversed on Heave and Surge as well. But they may be the opposite depending on the setup.

Also you may want to take some of the pitch travel and put it towards surge instead. So instead of 60% to pitch and 10% surge, make it 30% or less for pitch and 25 or more for surge. It may make the setup a little snappier. But I don’t like a lot of pitch or roll changes myself. Just enough for immersion and the rest goes to the chassis movements.

Also, I need help to down load the F1 2022 plugin. I went to Plugins Library> and tried to sign in but it would accept my password. I tried resetting the password but it would not accept my email address ether. So just click the F12022 banner and...

    And received this:

SimTools v3 questions should be made on the existing v3 Beta testing thread: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/simtools-v3-public-beta.17329/

I am not sure what you mean, v3 plugins can be accessed and directly installed from the v3 interface.

SimTools V2 plugins are not compatible with v3 but you can install v2 and v3 to have access to the full range of plugins that are specific to either at this time.

I'm trying to sign in to SimTools Library, https://simtools.us/plugin_library/
But it needs an email address and password.

Unfortunately, I don't have password. So I clicked "Forgot your password?".
But when I entered my email address, it says "There are no users registered with this email address. Please enter the email address used when SimTools was purchased".

I've been using the same email address for everything I purchased.
Now, I'm not sure if I put in a wrong email address when I purchased the Pro License.
Is there a way to fix this or find out if my email address is incorrect when I purchased my Pro License?

Ugh! My email address is not valid. The SimTools.us is not replying yet, to check if I have typed in the wrong email address.

You will need to wait for the simtools.net response, as it can't be sorted out anywhere else, I am cc in @yobuddy to try and expedite that.

Thank you sir! Anyway, I've been enjoying my motion sim so much. I'm glad I found your website. It's getting late here... I will check the reply from simtools.net again in the morning. Hopefully, I'll get my License registered tomorrow. Thank you so much again! You have been very helpful since the beginning. Cheer!

I had a typo in my email also and he was able to correct it rather quickly. It may or may not have been due to the fact it was early in the morning after trying to get the simulator running. Misspelled my own name. :)
