I've heard from a few. All say they have turned it down some because it was a bit too agressive. Everyone seemed pleased to have an exact match of the on-screen motion with the simulator motion.

I currently use it and as Berney said, it allows for better synchronization of on screen motion with the motion coming from the platform. I had some crashing issues on startup and exit of iRacing while using the plugin so I will try the new version to see if that helps to correct it.

I had to turn the effects way down to get the feel that I liked but I am very happy with it.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I'm having trouble getting iWrap to work with X-Sim. I use the SimXperience Commander software and whenever I try to start iRacing, Force Sender crashes with the following error:

I installed iWrap version 1.0.0.2 and the X-Sim plugin version 1.0 Alpha. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Figured it out. For some reason, the X-Sim plugin installer didn't replace the iRacingPlugin.dll file. Had to uninstall, delete the file, and reinstall. Now I have the file dated 10/15/10.

Thumbs up to all those who contributed to this project!

Perhaps the sender was still open and the file was in use?

Not sure, but that very well could've been the cause. Thanks, Berney.

    Hi,

I am having difficulties trying to make this work ... Always getting ''Coudn't connect to iRacing Simulation'' error message when starting iWrap v1002.

I want to use it to connect x-sim + motion cockpit view ...

    I have installed iWrap v1002 + iWrap x-sim plugin,

I have downloaded motion cockpit view v1.5 and followed all the instructions...

Could not even connect to iWrap ...

Is there something else I need to install beside iWrap1002Setup.exe ?

    Thx!

    My Motion Simulator:
    3DOF, Arduino, Motion platform
Post from topic complete beginner, but it should be here:

    Here are the version numbers:

    - SLIProMgr_094d18c

    - iSpeed2.4.0.3

    - Force-sender 2.0 (X-Sim version 2.1.0.13)

I also installed IWrap, however i don't use it, because if i remember correctly ISpeed has a IWrap proxy built in, but install it just in case.
So this is the startup procedure:

    ISpeed->SLI-Pro manager->X-Sim force-sender->IRacing.

@Bleco i think motion cockpit view also works in this config, just use ISpeed in combination with IRacing. Also install IWrap.

Just to be sure here is the (X-Sim)Plugin i use:

    iRacingPlugin.rar

Thx for the tip, it solved my connexion issue to proxy ;-)

Everything seems to be set up but I still can't connect x-sim+Fanatec Thub+motion cockpit view even if iSpeed is connected to iRacing via iWrap... all 3 will work separately...

Can we use 2.0.8.9b as well? or it as to be 2.1.0.13b ?

Its the same i think, i use the workshop edition

I tested the motion cockpit view today, i works but you need to rename the IWrap_NPClient.dll to -> NPClient.dll ! (Just remove the IWrap word in the beginning of the file name.

So, copy these files to your IRacing program dir from the GyroscopicTrackIRView dir:

    iWrapClient.dll
    Motion_Cockpit_View_Activator
    NPClient.dll (Formaly known as IWrap_NPClient.dll)

Run the Motion_Cockpit_View_Activator as well as ISpeed,X-Sim and/or others.
When you are in the car a beep sounds, telling you that the motion cockpit is active, you can disable it with CTRL+SHIFT.

BTW: i have to test it more, but till now i don't like the add-on, maybe its because my screens are too big

    Regards,

    Rob

    Hi,

I have tried all day long to make this work together with no luck ...

The only combinaison that is working is X-sim + iSpeed ... But I can't get them work with the cockpit view v1.5 and Fanatec THUD 0.4 ...

I am able to run the cockpit view and Fanatec THUD separately ...

This is what I have done for installation:

    Installed iWrap v1002.

Installed iSpeed v2.4.0.3 and can connect to iWrap successfully.

Installed iRacing Plugin For iWrap Setup v1.0.

    Installed cockpit view mod 1.5.
    I copied these files to C:\Program Files (x86)\iRacing :
    - iWrapClient.dll
    - iWrap_NPClient_CSP.dll (renamed to NPClient.dll
    Installed vcredist_x86.exe
Double clic on Motion_Cockpit_View_Activator.exe and make sure the check mark is on.

    Fanatec THUD is v0.4

I am not sure what to do next ... Is there an order to follow? I tried pretty much all options ... I also tried not to use the Fanatec THUD, no luck either

    Ok finally,

I can use iWrap to mix the motion cockpit view + x-sim + iSpeed ... another great addon to my sim!

Issue was with iWrap ... don't know exactly what happened but problem was fixed after reinstallation ...

    Thx for this great tool!

Cool...what settings do you use for cockpit view?
I think the default is a bit too much motion...
