It occurred to me that it would be easier if I just included SimConnect.dll in the plugin download, rather than copying it from the game installation directory. The concern I had, though, is that different versions of the game might use different versions of this file. Can anyone with the MS Store version help me test this by trying out my version of SimConnect.dll?

Just follow the instructions to patch the game, and then replace the file in AppData\Local\SimTools\MFS2020.

I'm having permissions issues when copying SimConnect.dll out of the MS Store install directory. So I used your .dll... seeing this error on start of MFS: Open exception: Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow. However I now have motion

Thanks for the info. It seems to always output that error message when the game is loading, but it goes away by the time the main screen comes up.

It did not. But your revision worked as I had a 1.5 hour flight today with a bunch of turbulence and it worked the whole way!!! Awesome effort, thanks!

Has anyone experienced these with the latest version of the plugin:
    - staticky sound with micro cuts
    - every time I come back to the menu the rig shakes violently for a short period of time

Am I the only one experiencing this?

    Thanks for the update.

Some issues i have, still getting the overflow error but it seems it keeps working now.

    Issues
Biggest issue is YAW. Its set to -180 on loading, and when plane is loaded it sets it to a different value but not zero

its not working for me. game appears to be patched fine, but the UDP says:

Open exception: An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B)

for me now it works very well, the only problem is the yaw that does not respond in the movement platform

Try turning down the game graphics and/or the packet rate in the config file, and let me know if this helps with the micro cuts. Also, does the rig shake violently whenever you pause the game mid-flight, or just when returning to the menu after exiting a flight?

-180 is the value the game outputs when loading, so I'm not sure there's anything I can do about this. And once the plane is loaded yaw is set to its compass direction, so it won't be 0 unless the plane is pointing directly south.

Since yaw goes from -180 to 180, a wide range of values, it typically doesn't change as drastically as pitch and roll. There might not really be a problem with your setup.

Reference the SimTools manual as there is a section for this. You’ll also need to install the Plugin Updater if not done so already.
FWIW if you haven’t done so already read through the manual in it’s entirety. Not all will make sense but as you start to become familiar with ST things will click easier.
I’m a visual guy too but you really need the manual as a reference.

Nah yaw just isnt working as it should. Might be plane related not sure where you binded it to.

Rest works ok, will you be able to build in protection for pitch and roll? So max 360 degrees or something.

Unfortunly after 10 hours of testing MFS2020 is a pain in the ass. Crashes mid flight all over the place.

Can you describe your issues with yaw? It's supposed to be the compass direction that the plane is pointing, and on my machine it always is. I tested with several different planes.

For me, the value of roll seems to always be bounded by -180 and 180, and pitch by -90 and 90. Were you getting values outside of these bounds?

Also, do you mean that the game is crashing or the plugin?
