Hello sir, thank you for responding....commercials, I'm already tired of trying to reform my 12v engines...
What would be the commercial actuators that I can buy for Simtools v3.

While there are alternatives, and it is not necessarily cheap, I would suggest in terms of a wider range of choice, plus capabilities, look into the range of commercial actuators that utilise the @Thanos controller: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/amc-aasd15a-servo-controller.13945/

this one from thanos comes with its own software or can be used with simtools too... this would be the cheapest option in actuators
Or there are other alternatives that look very expensive.

Another question, all actuators have drivers apart from the Arduino, there are tutorials on the Simtols page on how to connect the Thanos controller.

The @Thanos controller is compatible with SimTools.

The link page provided details the use of the @Thanos controller, including in the first post a link to its manual.

Commercial dedicated controllers and actuators are somewhat expensive, it depends on what your priorities are if that is or is not a worthwhile tradeoff. The @Thanos and other controllers can be used with DIY actuators, if you want to explore the DIY route.

In the simtoolsv3 plugins interface there are 3 actuator options, they could be AMC THANOS - HYPER AXYS DE FREX and SCN DYADYC SYSTEMS, any of those three options can be used.
I would love to assemble the DIY ones but in my country they would charge me a fortune for each piece I have to buy

Hello sir, I ask the question to you or to someone on the forum who has assembled the simulator with 4 FREX actuators.

1 I want to know the specific model of the Frex actuator like the one they use in their 6dof simulators like the photo. UNIDAD DE MOVIMIENTO FREX 6DOF.png

2 would have to be like the SFX 100 actuators that lift the entire cockpit as in the video

3 and if there is a thread where all the information is to connect the frex actuators.

Does anyone know where you can buy the same motors as DOF REALITY or how much reduction they use and you have to be able to put the potentiometer on the other side of the crank like the DOF REALITY ones.

Hello people of the forum, I wanted to ask if anyone knows what function these plates perform, they are the same as the 2dof box from the company DOF REALITY

Hello forum people, there is someone who is using potentiometers made with a 3D machine and hall sensors and is using them in the simulator.

Please, can you explain how to manage to fix the unjoint and make it up down movable? Found your videos on YouTube and I am happy to find you here as well.

    thank you in advance.

Hello friend, nice to meet you... in the part you show me, I welded a tube of the same diameter to the gimbal and at the moment when the four motors or two motors go up, the gimbal is inserted into another larger tube. They have to be well adjusted so that there is no play and they function as shock absorbers.

that was a cheap or low cost way to put 4 motors with ball joints.... if I didn't put the cardan part of the butaka would fall to the sides the cardan helps me keep the simulator in place and when I turn it on all 4 engines put the cranks in the central mode and everything is stable. That would be the cheap way to not use 4 actuators here in Argentina you can't get actuators and if you find any they would not be powerful and would cost you very expensive.

Thank you for your quick reply. My 2DOF with joint is history, and I have the same issue without a stabilizer. My rig wants to fall to the side or to the front. For assistance, the motors have 4 gas dampers, but I need a stabilizer.

Could you make a video of it with a close-up while the Cardan joint is moving up and down?

You know that I already disassembled everything in the simulator, I no longer have it, I wanted to make my new structure... at one point I wanted to make it with aluminum profiles and start reforming the motors. I am in a project to create some actuators with the same motors and put a motor in the 4 points of the simu... but if you want I can look for some videos that I have saved or some photos of that structure. You could send me your cell phone number and I will send them to you by WhatsApp if you want it will be faster, you are in germany...
