Well I have successfully finished my pedals only to find improvements I want to make. Also I have 3 friends that now want me to build them a set. So maybe I will have the funds for the motion sim sooner then I thought.

I buildt the yaw-part of this drawing (seat and wheel-stand) but I was not satisfied with it. Not stiff enough. I did also have others idea for sim with easy acess articsimulator-joyrider-made-of-wood-t2063.html. Now I have desided to make a sim more like this 2dof-simple-wipermotor-chair-by-ua6aak-t2512.html (without wheel moving) and hopefulle later put the whole thing it into a joyrider style :D (fast responses from sfgt-style and more g-force from yoyrider-style)

I think laminated wood can be used, but it is a challenge to make it stiff enough, but a combination of steel or aliminium and wood might work well.

    Good luck with your sim!
