    Hey @noorbeast!

Do you have knowledge of hypoid gearbox? Or perhaps you can recommend someone to help me choose a hypoid gearbox. Or are such gearboxes not suitable for our platforms?

I don't profess to be an expert.

Design wise a hypoid gearbox for a given ratio should be more efficient and a wormdrive more compact and lighter.

Cost can be a factor, but there are so many other possible variables there, same with quality.

I'm just not able to figure out what gear ratio I need. Now I have a 50:1 worm gear. But in hypoid gearboxes, the gear ratio is indicated somehow differently, and this is where I got confused.

And I also have a small update - I made a rack for three monitors of 32 diagonals. I used a profile pipe 40 * 40. I think the safety margin is enough :):grin

I am not sure what you mean, independent of whatever box is used the motor input shaft speed is ultimately converted to an output shaft rotation speed, and that ratio is what we commonly refer to with respect to our rigs.

Of course being different types of gearboxes if you are counting gear teeth then yes they will differ, given the different type of gearbox construction.

@noorbeast , Hello! I wanted to ask - have is the game - Drift simulator, with an available plug-in for it?
I looked at the plugins section, but didn't notice anything similar.

I am not sure what you mean by:
There is the FURIDASHI: Drift Cyber Sport plugin: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/marketplace/furidashi-drift-cyber-sport.210/

But you can also use the likes of Assetto Corsa, which has a whole host of drift mod tracks and cars available: https://ac-driftgame.com/

If you go the AC drift route, which I would recommend, then also use Content Manager to install and manage both mods and fine tune AC settings: https://assettocorsa.club/content-manager.html

Hi all! We continue to test, it seems to work well :). But i may still have to make some adjustments to the software.
