    Hi Dustin ...
Super Excellent work buddy . :thumbs
Maybe this is a good timing to request something more .
I'd like to ask if there is any chance to add an "Axis Parking" option in the Game Engine for each Axis output ?
With a preselected speed rate % for the motors to go to the maximum/minimum value of that axis motion range ...
And, can be not selected if not needed for this axis to park (center is just OK and works separately ) ...

My point is : I see many of the simulator designs needs to be totally lowered or leaned sideway to get into it ...
and by previewing most of the controller's compatible F/W I hardly found some of them have this option but with the max. PID speed for the motor ... which is really annoying and considered as a bump stop when used " Maybe that's why it is not used so far ...
So maybe adding this option to SimTools will make it easier to get in and out of some high or some complicated cockpit designs and could be used for extra cockpit options like a moving top screen shields or a " convertible roof " :cheers.

So, what do you think ?

    @Narendra Singh ,
Did you patch the game for motion?

if not, play the game first.
Race a lap and exit the game.
Now patch the game with SimTools game manager.

let me know how it goes.

Hello yobuddy. Thank you for SimTools!!!
When I was a teenager I bought my first PC (Pentium 120 MHz) and built a rudimentary wooden steering wheel (the gaming devices did not exist... ) and I dreamed of having a complete simulator that moved during the game (it was 1996 !!!).
Today, thanks to SimTools, my device is reality! You're a myth! :):thumbs:cheers

Thank you, it was just an experiment ... but it's probably the first steering wheel for PC history ... :grin:grin:grin

Oh, I must be more than stupid because I am not able to setup my 2DOF system (one PC). Downloaded the simtools, iRacing plugin, cannot find the plugin updater. Nothing happens

Hi. My first computer was a TRS-80 and the second was a C64 but my first PC was a 386. In 1989 Papyrus released https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indianapolis_500:_The_Simulation. It was a fantastic leap in racing physics and its code evolved to become Grand Prix Legends, Nascar Racing 2003 Season, and eventually iRacing.

Anyway, as you stated, no wheels for a PC were available yet so I made my own wheel too to use with "The Simulation" so I could have a more realistic experience. I don’t have a photo of it but I bought a wheel from a local auto store and attached a shaft to it. Then I made a base out of wood and got some thrust bearings for the shaft to go thru and into the base. Internally, I put a lever on the shaft and a couple of small pulleys attached to the base on each side of the lever. I then attached some fishing line to the lever, wrapped it around both pulleys and then back to the lever again. Now, when I moved the wheel it created linear motion in the fishing line between the pulleys. In the middle of the pulleys on the fishing line I attached an rc plane tire with its hub removed. The hole in the middle was a perfect fit to go over the fire button that was on the top of my joystick. Now when I moved the wheel the joystick would move right and left also and it was very smooth and worked great. It sure would have been better with FFB though.

While I don’t have a photo of the wheel itself, for a flashback here is the joystick I used in it though.

I made wood pedals too but for those I just bought a couple of linear pots that were attached to the pedals with some stiff wire and some rubber bands that would pull the pots back and also apply some adjustable back pressure depending on how many rubber bands were used.

    Google translate -
Anyone have any idea if there is any tutorial or someone can tell me the steps as saetear games simtools because some games are very real in movements like proyect cars with a preset lower .... but other games like dirt Rally or diRT 3 nothing to do movements they are as invested .....

You need to provide an English translation, particularly when requesting help.

Different games require different motion profiles: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/
