your platform? custom made by you, or new ones from some store? My question is because, in general, if you buy a platform, some configs are custom for it. So, make a copy from 2.0, install 2.1 and drag and drop all configs from 2.1. Should be ok.

OK, here are the pics of my setup. It is exactly the same as in ver.2.0.
It was strange, but after I have installed 2.1 (to other directory than 2.0) all of my 2.0
setup transferred to 2.1 as well, so I didn't need to copy the values.
With 2.0 it is still working as well.
My platform is a custom made, I'm using SMC3 Arduino 3DOF Motor Driver.

    Thank You

    Noorbeast,

thanx for advise, I have uninstalled both 2.0 and 2.1. After I have installed 2.1, but the result is the same. It is strange, If I turn on the output testing, one of the motors rolled to about 20% one side,
it looks like the zero point is different, but only for one motor. If I sliding the slider "roll" left and right it is pulling so hard to the requested position.

After I reinstalled back with 2.0, without uninstalling 2.1, but to the same directory.
2.0 is still working well, as I start testing the motor set back to center and working well, softly and good.

    Any other ideas?

    George

You have likely messed up the install somewhere, so try unistalling, then to be sure manually remove C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Local\SimTools and also the C:\Program Files (x86)\SimTools folders, reboot and do a clean install.

When you uninstall SimTools, are you answering yes to the question "Remove old settings..." ??
SimTools v1.0 and v2.0 can not be on the same PC is why I ask.

Hello to all. I have a question.
If I buy a "professional license" of simtools 2.x , do I also get unlimited access to download plugins???
From what I read, I think no, but many time ago a forum member answered a question by saying the opposite. Unfortunately I can not find the post anymore.
Can you help me? Thank very much!

The Professional License only covers SimTools, not plugins, but you can use activity coins or real money to purchase access to plugins: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/coins-and-how-to-download-plugins.2/

OK thanks. That's what I understood, but as I said, some weeks ago I discussed this with an user who stated the opposite and I had doubts .... among other things, it seems to me that the user in question is no longer present in the forum.
    Thanks again.

I take the opportunity to ask if anyone has information about the developments in the "game vibe" feature that might be interesting for buying a "professional license".
    Ciao:thumbs

SimTools 1.3 is no longer maintained, nor are its plugins, as the focus is on the development of SimTools 2 and associated modules, one of which is Game Vive, which is currently in closed Beta testing: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/simtools-2-0-question-and-answer.8175/

    Hallo again

I am having problems with my right SCN5 actuator back again - it seems the ST 2.1 lost the ID, and only right moves. AS I remember I need to change the ID in x-sim converter to make it work?
In ST 2.1 I have COM 3 and COM4 to choose from. In x-sim converter both SCN5s seem to be connected to COM4

    Any help will be appreciated

    Here I present x-sim converter

PS - I switched the USBs and in x-sim converter all seemed to get back. I had two SCNs working. I started ST 2.1 and iR and nothing happened. I just felt a tiny movement at the end of session of iR.

I restarted the computer and all is back to what it used to be which is wrong . x-sim conv finds only one scns. Both IDs are set to ZERO.

What is funny - when I start x-sim conv only right SCN works. With ST 2.1 the other one starts.

    Any ideas what went wrong?

PS 1 to make it works I have to replug USBs - then both ST 2.1 and x-sim conv see SCNs

PS 2 ST does not work with iR. GM GE are connected and patched - a small movement sort of vibe is felt
PS3 During the session with iR info popped up - that ST stopped working
PS3 I replugged the USBs and x-sim conv saw both SCNs - the moment I started ST 2.1 it went down to one left. After that when I run x-sim converter only one SCN is visible.

    @TPS
Are both your SCN actuators connected to the same serial adapter?
Or do you have each SCN connected to its own adapter?

Every actuator has its own connector. It used to be good before, as I switched from Lince to ST2.0/2.1. After a long period of time I started ST and it moved only one scn. After I replug usbs it is found by x-sim converter, (see attached files above). but it changes nothing as I start ST 2.1 and only one scn moves

I can't speak for xsim stuff.
But if it used to work, and now it does not, I would look for hardware problems.
Loose wires or a faulty USB cable maybe?

Maybe look at your interfaces settings and make sure both SCN actuators are listed in Game Engine?
If one looks wrong, remove it. then restart SimTools and re-set it up.
But it sounds like it could be hardware to me.
