    Hi @Petar2 great job!!!

Where do you put the two engines? rear or in front of the centre of gravity?

Will place in front of the center of gravity.

I had in mind my height when calculating the center, plus my wheight. the center of gravity at a distance that allowed me to reach the pedals comfortably.

The result being the center back with respect to the seat, is more space in the front to position the motors.

Also is better to install the computer in the next cabin of arcade drawer.

Have photos of your project? I would like to see the base of it to compare with mine.

Sorry but i have not started yet the project because i do not have all the components.
Now i have only the two motors and the arduino.
I'm waiting for the the two h-bridge, the power supply and the two pots.

In this photo you can see my sega rally 2 cabinet.

The difference to your is the handbrake near the seat and the cover which closes the base is iron.

I want to keep the handbrake but to do it i think i have to get up a little the seat because i think it beats the structure when it is tilted.

@bsft @Petar2 what do you think the seat will incline during a game?

If I'm not mistaken, the hand brake is attached to the sheet. I'll skip my instalación.sheet measures 5 ctm high.

If you can remove it and fix the hand brake seat with these 5cmts over 4 or 5 others that you will tall you give enough space to seat tilt.

i don't know if i can move the handbrake and fix it directly on the seat...

    @bsft @Petar2 i have two questions:

    1) how many degrees the seat tilts in a game?

    2) in my case it is better to put the engine back or forward the center of gravity?

Finally the structure is finished, I checked that everything falls into place, tap primer and paint black.

Motors forward centre of gravity for sure, if you can design it like the desk racer with motor connections up above bottom line of seat.
As for tilt, Id say you would get about 7-8 deg total angle on sway and about 16 deg total angle on surge. Just fiddle with the profile on surge to even it out.

Actually not higher, in the photos is not fully appreciated, but the seat is the same height as the original structure.

I've seen to that is to keep the original position.

Shortly be installing and what you will see.

you're right, the total height is the same.

@Petar2 but why you have removed the base of the seat?

Why? My vision of this project involves preserving the wood top, so to get the movement have done without that piece that you indicate.

I have given primer to the structure, which was most urgent for it will not start taking óxido.already have leftovers later I cut the wood top.

Perhaps now you have a more consistent to what I intend to build vision.

    Thank's bsft
Surely if it will look better with a profile, I'm conditioning the electronic coupling and the hall sensors to do that test.

True, this source of pc will be helpful.

Little progress, but no less important, placing g27 pedals at their final destination.

I have also placed the seat in place, to see how it looks.

    Hi @Petar2,
    your works is very beautiful!

An information.... you will use the cabinet also to play games that non have the motion?
In this case have you thought of a way as not to move the seat?
Because i think that if you use it to play for example sega scud race by supermodel3 emulator and you put yourself on the seat its moves for your weight or not?
