Good morning, I have had a move and since I didn't have to dismantle everything for transport, this bug is big...haha.
I took the opportunity to clean and check the electronics.
Before I can assemble the seat, I want to test the software and I see that these days almost everything has to have Steam. At the moment I have rfactor for basic tests, but I'm going to get serious about this.

Now that I'm halfway assembled, I've reviewed the electronics and everything seems to be in order...
I am installing a couple of games and the X-sim software in my house and the next day I will connect and configure to check if everything is really correct.

I have to start reviewing the installation of the software, right now I feel like a child on his first day of school....

First of all, happy holidays to everyone. After so much time with the project stopped, I have discovered that there are many colleagues who have made designs for motor supports, hall effect potentiometers and countless parts for 3D printing. My initial design, although functional, it was not to my liking, so I thank the authors of the designs that I have taken to update the supports for my hall potentiometers. I took the support for my valeo motors and another piece for the hall sensor that I have scaled to adapt it to my homemade potentiometer to which I glued the magnets. I hope to update it these days and show the result. I hope to have the simulator with movement soon, when they finish remodeling that part and configure my axes again

Good evening, today I escaped for a while and started modifying the potentiometer supports.
I have to finish centering them well and put in some shorter screws, but I'm almost ready and looking forward to trying them out.
I will continue after the new year, and I hope to be able to try them to see if they are better with the change.
PS: I finished both, but I had to leave quickly and I didn't take a photo of the whole

This afternoon I left the diy hall potentiometers adjusted and I fought with the Arduino IDE, just to install smc3 and try to move the motors without result....more tomorrow and some photos of how the supports turned out

Hello everyone, I hope you had a happy new year.
As I already mentioned in the SMC3 arduino motor controller thread, I already have movement in motor 1 and I have already configured motor 2, it remains to adjust Kp to my liking for a slightly faster movement, I still have to learn how to correctly configure the parameters to an adequate and similar movement in both engines, but I am on the right track.
I will continue documenting the process in my own thread, to have everything more organized in case someone can be of help.
    greetings

Hello, I have been disconnected for a bit for medical reasons, but I am back on track. I have already achieved movement in SimTools Game Engine, and I move the motors manually.
instalé LFS and it gave me errors when trying to get the game with its patch to pass telemetry.
I also bought a package to download plugins and test, with Rfactor, Grid and some others, but I must be doing something wrong or something is wrong with my computer
I will take advantage of this week to review the tutorials and see where I am failing, because I am almost ready to assemble the seat and start enjoying.
What .net framework is recommended? The tutorial indicates 4.0 but it is already at 4.8 or so... I don't think that has any influence, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

By the way, the game engine connects, but in green, it needs to turn blue, which would indicate that it receives telemetry from the game...

I'm going to review the tutorials and find out where I make the mistake, because almost 99% of it is my fault and the other one would be a computer error.....

    Welcome back.

Output Testing works, so it is most likely a configuration issue.

LFS has to be run before patching it for motion: https://xsimulator.net/community/faq/live-for-speed-run-in-first-person-mode-before-patching.365/

Can you please post pictures of all of your settings, including the Tuning Center while a game is running, as that will confirm if telemetry is being sent or not.

A later version of .Net is fine, as long as there are no error messages.

Well, you were right and anxiety took over me.

Uninstalling the patch, playing a race and then applying the patch made it work and now there is movement in the game. Unfortunately today I had little time and I couldn't help but adjust the axes and the forces I want to apply.

But the problem at the moment was not such, it was my mistake.

Now it's time to properly adjust the two axes and the forces and I will place the seat. My configuration makes it easy to correct any mechanical failure with the seat out....but there is little left.

Thank you very much for your help, I'm sure I would still be trying to synchronize the game and the simulator.

Hello, since my PC is quite old, I have decided to upgrade to a more current one, which allows me to play more games and be able to enjoy a few more years without having to worry about that aspect.

Tomorrow the arrival of the respective pieces of the new PC is expected

I wonder if apart from installing Windows, arduino ide, sim tools (I think I'll try beta 3, to get familiar with the new interface).

Is there a way to save what I already had configured in SMC, what is already recorded in the Arduino EEPROM, I understand that it will still be there, there is some folder or configuration file that I must take into account so that it remains, if possible, as Did I leave it off the last time I was adjusting?

And here are the specifications, it is not the most powerful, but I think it will be able to handle almost all games, what do you think?

You can have both versions open at the same time, just make sure only one is active or (on) at a time.
