    vulbas,
    Friend, it's looking great...
? - What are you using the transformer for? Pots/Board??

    Have a blessed one,

Black satin is what I use too. I would prefer to use flat though due to little light reflection off of it but it just looks dull and holds on to everything that touches it!

I painted matte black. it will be better, it will be less trace.

the electricity supply 24v used for 6DOF card. usb hub. and fans that I will put on the engines. I'll run over 50hz, they will heat up more.

    :)

    Hi vulbas,
    Thanks, that's what "me" thought.
Are you using the "thanos 6dof" board I saw a couple years ago - another one at ??BFF or BBF site?

Again, you're doing beautiful work friend.

it make a packet wire to plug in a very small card.

Hi @cthiggin ... this is a good preview for you ... thanks for the tips:thumbs.

Hi @vulbas ...very good my friend ... but if you allow me :
    - Safety first buddy ... I guess with all this wires it may look like the tree root at the end ... if you can organize more please ...
    - These resistors tips " red circle-see picture "needs to be shortened or good isolated ... Spark is possible here ... EMF voltages can reach serious values here .
    - Aren't you going to use any CB "circuit breaker" OR Emergency stop with a contactor for the main line ?
    - What is the device in the blue rectangle for ?

you're really running in your progress and I'm really pleased with that ...
Thanks and keep up the good work :cheers

    Hi Speedy,
    Good to hear you friend.
Yes, I watched @vulbas' build of his 3dof about three years ago when I was just getting started looking for hardware. He sure is doing a beautiful build here....Wow!

very good speedy remark, I planned to shorten resistances;) I waited to see if someone would tell me :)

Sure @vulbas we wont let down any tiny detail to escape ... And I assume you will cover this box with some plexiglass door or cover ... So, and I'm sure you know that your electronic box have lake of ventilation ...

you have many thermal loads in ascending order : regulator , the AMC1280USB , a power supply , 6 resistors heat source , 6 VFD's heating up very fast driving your motors with there fans facing the box side too close and circulating the worm air back inside again ... the VFD's here is in danger situation "they are eager for cool fresh air " ...

    1Untitled.jpg Untitled.jpg

I suggest to just drill 6 ventilation holes "just holes" in front of each VFD Fan to through out the worm air ... covered with wire mesh like you did with the shown ...

put more one or two extra side suction Fans like the one you did ... to pull fresh air into the resistors area ...

It is really pleasure to contribute with you at least by any comment ... that's what makes me learn more ... thanks for leaving the door open ...

    hello,
not made much progress. I just painted in matt black box.
I'll test it with the box in this configuration. if it heats I do otherwise.
thank you for your help speedy :)

Black would be less distracting to the overall build. Don't think you want a first time viewer to immediately focus on the electronics box. IMHO

    vulbas,
That's great and I know you're very pleased. Know you've been quiet here for a few days....
The resistors and VFD's just tower over the size of the board....

    Have a blessed one,
    Tom

I cut the ends of the resistors to avoid the electric arcs.
