Rastus got one of those recliner seats, mind you, he admits that age is starting to catch up with him. He is 87.

I don't have that excuse, just an old shoulder injury from a real car crash 20+ years ago.

Having said that, Injury or not... I still want to get thrown around like @SilentChill does!!

Mine reclines but I have found I just use one notch. So I have it upright for things like no limits and back one notch for racing and flight. My dad and sister are short so they use it upright for all sims. I have a friend over 6 1/2 feet tall, so am guessing he will lay it back a bit and I may even have to extent the foot plate out for the first time when he visits.

My choice of seat was dictated by having built in quality lumbar support because of an old injury and as it so happened I already owned the perfect seat because of that injury.

I built my sim for experimentation not racing, so my criteria is different. While I have dialed my sim up a couple of times to see what it is capable of, unlike @eaorobbie, @SilentChill and @Archie I concentrate on the fidelity of movement with the Rift over getting tossed around and use sound, the buttkicker and a harness to contribute to motion cues.

Yeah, that is what I am like, with my Accuforce, GS-4, 8 buttkickers, seat mover and harness. They all add extra motion cues and feedback, which together adds up to a whole lot of motion from every angle. No need to be tossed around.

@noorbeast I tried a DK2 last weekend. Pretty awesome except for the low resolution. I am going to get my friend to bring over the DK2 and try it on my rig with all the motion. Should be pretty cool.
