    Did a clean reinstall of Steam, SteamVR and OVRMC, still no 'cog' visible. Other add-on overlays do work like fpsvr and 'OVR Advances Settings' and so on. Strange that OVRMC won't show up it's cog.

    Solved it, had to do a clean install of Windows. Something was blocking it apparently. Works great now, thanks @Wagnard

    So from my basic understanding;
    the two ways to allow motion compensation on high travel rigs are as follows;

    1) flypt mover which means you don't have to mount anything on the rig? Just have two lighthouses stand alone.

    2) sim tools; mount a sensor on cockpit and two lighthouses either side stand alone.

    is the above correct? The VR to be used will be PIMAX 5K

    edit: have also discovered a third methros with SRS studio; Witmotion WT901C (RS232) Sensor and Witmotion RS232 USB Cable

    Which is the most accurate way for a fast; high travel rig

    Hello everyone,
    Does anyone know if ovrmc is working with a Pico 3 neo link? Or maybe a Pico 4?
    It's not in the 'supported HMD list'.
    It always crashes when trying to launch steamvr, but I'll experiment some more before giving up :).
    Thanks!

    Witmotion is only 3-DOF so that is non-viable.

    Is there a way to use a Quest-3 remote as a reference point for 6-DOF motion compensation? Meaning, you mount the remote on the moving platform, check some box, and it all just works?

    Hello,

    I own a chinese motion simulator (VEGAFU) based on a headset DPVR E3C (via Steam) with a Chinese proprietary software. For now, I play a video inside the HMD and the motion moves.

    I look a way to add motion cancellation. I've read all this thread with interest.

    This E3C doesn't appear in the list of supported headsets but it should works because it's based on SteamVR. Anyway, I can’t choose another headset (the internal app is linked to this DPVR E3C).

    I wonder what are my options to add a tracker for OVMRC.

    1. I can’t access to the motion software so I can’t write a custom driver (soft tracker).
    2. I still have the option of adding a physical tracker, but this headset doesn't provide a tracker with this HMD. I though to use Vive trackers/base station but I read in one thread that “OVRMC does not support mixed tracking spaces”. Does it mean that I can’t add a physical tracker?
    3. I understand that a Wit motion sensor is only possible via SRS, which I can't use because (I have to keep a proprietary motion sensor). Am I right?
    Thank you for your advices

    Dan
