    Hello
Hello and thank you for the replies on your YT actuator vid. Would you say that upping the ballscrew to a 2010 would be wise? the axle on the motor is 19mm so you would most likely not have to machine the coupler to make it fit.

here is a link to my post with some costs and locations of where I got my parts for this build. I did a similar build of my actuator.

Depending on where you order your ball screws from they will come with the coupling that will fit your setup when you order it so you won’t have to machine it. Peacemaker machined his because he was using the coupling from a previous build that had smaller motor shaft.

i am using 1610 ball screws. Some say you can go bigger to reduce flex at high rpms. I think it’s up to you. Mine are 640mm long and following these guys I installed a plastic bushing on top of the screw to keep the screw from slapping the inside of the pipe.

Thx for that! It makes the sourcing easier, but man, those shipping rates! :O
One other thing that'll make my actuators a bit more expensive is that I want to use clear pvc piping to be able to see what's going on inside. Useless but cool :p Found 3 and 4" with 9mm walls that should do nicely, 3" should be enough right?

Yup shipping is terrible that’s for sure. I don’t see why you would want 4”. 3” seems to be plenty and pretty much all these guys are using. Minus them being metric of course. Just make sure it’s schedule 40 pipe and not that schedule 20 that’s all thin and flimsy.

when you start to assemble I’m in the middle of posting a thread with picture of the assemble and peacemaker has his assembly video also.

His is on page one I believe. And here is my link. https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/assembly-of-actuator-peacemakers-build-mostly.15846/

I'll activate again backorders on the TDD page soon, as soon as I verify parts are on the way. Hopefully sometime next days.

    Thanks

Yes....this is an early Project, but it's awesome. For the moment Flypt do the Motioncueing, but later i will most likely use the Controller for this. I'm very happy with this and i love the external Controllerbox.
