please tell me if it is necessary to buy a simhub license or can you use it for free instead of simtools, for example?

Wotever is a single guy, developing all this on his own. I believe there's a trial mode, but it's worth the money if you can afford motion you can afford the one time cost to get simhub+motion license

I live in Russia, we don't have the opportunity to pay with pay pal or visa here. that's why I'm asking if I can use it for free

Go on the discord and ask Wotever if he can work something out... Unfortunately only trials.

I still don't understand how much the license costs, does it start from 7 euros? Is this for how long?

You need two Licenses: First one is for SimHub (you can choose how much you want to pay here, I guess it starts at 5 or 8€. However, the Software is fantastic and you can show your support by paying more).
Then you need a license for SimHub Motion which costs 35€. Both licenses are lifetime licenses.

    Best,

    Ben

for me, I prefer simhub, this software is much more complete, you can put dashboards on screens, it is also very simple to use the wind simulator, vibrations on the pedals...

can simhub control the platform, wind and instruments at the same time?

Both can do somewhat similar things, though with different strengths and weaknesses, somewhat following their development trajectory.

SimHub started with peripherals, so dash, transducers, wind sim, and tactile vibrations, but motion is a very recent and hence somewhat constrained addition. SimHub caters to and shines when it comes to simplistic DIY integration.

SimTools started from telemetry driven motion and then added a whole bunch of other functionality, dash, tactile vibrations, wind sim, transducers, parasitic and telermetary race harnesses, RC and video driven motion simulation, all aimed at a flexible DIY community. SimTools has the greatest scope and capability, but at the expense of less plug and play but far more user customization/tweakability, including supporting a diverse range of hasrdware.
