    Did the repair tool find anything, fix anything, maybe ask you to reboot the PC?

    I can't tell you what has stopped it from working, so its really hard to say at this point.
    All my PC's are still registering just fine, so it makes me think simtools is getting blocked by something on your PC? I would try installing AVG free antivirus and then restarting the pc, and then trying to register again.

    Repair tool found something and repaired after which I reboot the pc but no change. I will install AVG as well, then I will try to reinstall simtools. If that still doesn't work, can you help me through Team Veiw?

    Have you checked to see if the Windows Management Instrument (WMI) service has started?
    It's the only other thing I can think of at this point.

    I'm fairly certain this is a system pacific problem, as I have not been able to replicate it on any of my test machines, and have never seen it before. but my Windows Management Instrument has started, so please check it.

    That's what everyone is doing thou. There is actually a ton of apps that run in 32 bit mode, so I don't see that as the problem.

    Do you have another pc to install v3 on for a test?
