Have there been any updates in the last few weeks?

I noticed that I haven't received the new version notice for some time.

I keep having problems running SimTools v3 alongside MOZA Pit House. If I open the Moza app, the platform does not move.

Any idea what I can do to fix this? Automobilista2

If I install Simhub and do udp port forwarding will it solve this issue? Which port does SimTools listen on?

    Hi @Djalma Ribeiro,
The next update will include skinning support, and will probably take another couple of weeks to finish.
There is other fixes in the update already, but I need skinning done (and tested) to push the next release.

The Automobilista2 plugin for v3 uses memory map, so there is nothing to forward, as its not udp I'm afraid.

    OK. Thank you very much!

I will continue executing in this sequence: Open SimTools, Open AMS2 and only then open Moza Pit House.

PS.: The intensity adjustment slider still doesn't make a difference during the game. Windows 11 Portuguese.

Thanks for the info, to bad they not yet output the telemetry, hopefully in the future.

Hey, I also have problem with Automobilista 2. I have installed the plugin.
After that my rig didn't respond to the game if I run the game directly. I found the way around, I have to run the game first and then I have to reinstalled the plugin while the game is running, then my rig moving like it should.

I don't know where the error comes from...

Not sure, as we ran Automobilista 2 this week without problems (with pcars 1 output anyway).
The PCars 2 output, that is used in Pcars 2 for some reason, does not work in Automobilista 2, even thou the game says it's compatible with it.

Hmm...after I close the MOZA PitHouse my rig responded just fine. It's similar what @Djalma Ribeiro said above. I'm using Moza base.

EDIT: I have to turn off MOZA PitHouse and Simhub to run Simtools perfectly.

Looks like MOZA PitHouse is also using game data for wheel features, so games that use UDP will need to UDP Relay to each app in order to get them all running. I can't really say what exactly MOZA PitHouse is doing, but this is pretty common with SimTools and Simhub udp games anyway.

Yea, looks like MOZA uses udp output for Automodelista 2, and the simtools plugin uses memory mapped output for telemetry.

It looks like I fixed it for now by downgrading the Pithouse to 1.2.1.3 software. Works fine now for all apps.

EDIT: Not yet lol, it still not moves my rig after exit game and starting the Ams2 again. The "reinstall plugin" while in game is way to go right now.

I have been having a lot of issues, seemingly out of nowhere with V3. Used to run flawlessly every time but as of a couple months ago, only one side of my motion rig calibrates after a full power down. If I restart Windows, it will usually run fine but never on the first boot of windows. Is this possibly because I use a power killswitch for all my gear? does it need to have some memory of the previous usage?

I have all my gear connected to a Furman Power conditioner so in case of any power spikes, my pc and other gear is protected. Its also nice to only have to power down all my gear with the flick of a switch.

We would need to know what hardware you are using buddy. My guess is scn actuators?
As cable length, or usb hubs can cause this issue.

Hello everybody. Some details that I noticed in gamevibe, and that make all the difference: in version 2.6, it is possible to choose more types of filters in the frequencies, such as white, brown. it was also possible to choose frequencies below 5hz, in v3 only above 10. the result is that i have to keep using v2.6 to get the results of the profile i made in NO LIMITS 2 game. this happened with some other games too, that lost the collision functions, and "turbo" was put instead of "turbulence", which also changes everything. if possible, it would be interesting to copy the 2.6 functions in the v3 vibe as well. thank you

In v3, the audio sounds are generated on the fly for sqr tri sin saw waves. But in v3, we can also drag-drop any mp3 file into v3, and then use it for many vibe effects also.

    What game plugins buddy?

    ..
Since today when I start f1 23 or automobolista via steam simtools v3 stops
I believe there is a problem between the steam update and simtools.. suddenly no more movement.. no more vibrations..
if I reinstall simtools, I lose all my settings I suppose?

    @offman,
Please uncheck "Auto detect launched games" and see how it goes.
Simply double click the 'play button' for either game. and see if it now works?
    upload_2023-7-14_14-47-42.png

Please also try un-selecting your sound cards, and then setting them back and hit save.
Please see if this might be the problem.

To do a simple reinstall, goto Options, then Export Wizard.
    1) Now export a setup plugin.
    2) Now export a f1 23 and Automobolista game plugins,
Choose Custom when asked (you can also add your Dash, Vibe and Crash settings if used)
    upload_2023-7-14_14-50-0.png

Now after SimTools is reinstalled, Simply drag-drop your setup file into the main gui of simtools.
The drag your game plugins into the main gui one at a time.
You should now be all re-setup and ready to click play!
Let me know how it goes,
    yobuddy

Looking at the data sheet for the game plugin, It looks to have everything the old plugin has plugin roll, pitch, and yaw rate and sway fans also.
    https://simtools.us/plugin/?varname=167&color=0e97dd
Could you tell me what missing?

Lowering the minimum frequency is not to hard (its just that 5hz is really low is all).
    Chat soon,
