    No interface was setup before but I have also tried now to setup a serial interface with a virtual com port.
    When testing the interface by clicking "Test settings" the serial data is shown fine.

    I have no motion simulator and want only to use virtual axis in form of sliders.
    I have setup a Generic 2D Basic with only Axis1a and Axis1b.

    I will test it but my main issue is that the game plugin is never called. Does SimTools have a general log to read somewhere?
    I have a Swedish version of Windows 11. Does it have something with wrong paths to do?

    Are you using a licensed version of SimTools, because the free version is restricted to using Live For Speed, specifically for testing purposes?

    I appreciate those are descriptions, but that is not the same as pictures of all settings currently being used.

    The game plugin will not be called if an interface is not setup and at least one is working.
    (Otherwise SimTools thinks that it has nothing to do.)
    Please setup the Network interface plugin, and simply send the data to 127.0.0.1, port 6123 (or any port that is not used).
    I believe setting up the network interface will give you the action you are looking for with your game plugin.

    Now it works for me. That was not obvious at all. Maybe there should be a clarification somewhere in the program or at least in the manual. Haven't found anything in the manual.

    Why is there a requirement that an interface has to be setup to make the motion input from the game to work.
    From a user perspective they are not dependent of each other. The interfaces is something you hook on if you want it.

    SimTools is smart enough to only only startup what is needed for the run (in an effort to save cpu cycles)
    Imagine someone only using the dash or vibe section(s) without a simulator, in this case, there is no need for all the number crunching for the motion side of things.

    You may have noticed the run page is pretty empty.

    I'm thinking of some kind of overview on this page of whats all happening.
    (Like what interface started up and so on.)
    And maybe a popup saying 'nothing to start' when needed, or a log entry at least.
    Now that the manual is finally finished, we are free to continue polishing out a few things in v3.

    I have now given up trying to use FS2020 with Simtools 3, it is unplayable, in incredibly over sensitive, axis limiting seems to have no effect, it's like being on a rollercoaster.
    I use the sim with F12023 and Assetto Corsa with no issues whatsoever.
    Is anyone using Simtools 3 with FS2020?

    its not the axis limiting, have you tried to fine tuning on "min/Max Tuning" tab?
    to my understanding, its that tab that responsible for the "sensitivity" of the motion.

    Hi, thanks for the reply, yes I've done tuning to death, to the point where I've set all axis to 100% but it makes little or no difference, at that setting it should move like a sloth.

    I just updated to the latest version of simtools v3 (havnt updated since last September) and fs2020 still works, but no longer getting any telemetry for DCS. I updated the plug in and validated that the export.lua was written. Anything else to check?
