the number here is so high. for me its between 5-10. so do change the number of fine tuning, between that number. a 100 is a no.

and, if I'm not wrong, the sum of the axis is 100-120 max (ideally), yours is 170, so you should put a number that between that numbers. make the roll and pitch a 30, its enough

Hi, racing and Flight Sim are 2 very different things, for Flight Sim you can have a much higher axis total. Also the the fine tuning works as the higher the number the softer the movement, so having mine set to 100 was a test to see if it made any difference, it didn't. I have also run the simulator based on the captured settings.
Racing in F1 2023 and Assetto Corsa is fine, I have no issues.

hi, have you try the profile intensity on the FS2020?
    if you haven't do it.

Yes, tried intensity, it just seems the data coming from FS2020 doesn't seem particularly accurate....I think it's a FS issue rather than.
I'm currently resetting the FS profile and starting again firstly capturing the axis movements one at a time....

After running some tests on DCS, it all seems to be working here just fine.
Have you found a solution to this problem?

    Nope, just the one file.
Have you installed any new antivirus or firewall apps lately?
What happens if you run DCS as admin?

I found the problem, although I'm not sure what to do about it yet. For some reason the solution that I posted several months ago to externalize the plugin lua script from the export.lua seems to no longer work. Either I'm doing something stupid, or something has changed in DCS to break my approach. I'll report back when i get it unwound and find a solution.

figured it out. my customized export.lua had an invalid character in it somehow that I couldn't see and I had to rebuild it from scratch. all working now:)

Is there a setting to stop the SimTools window from popping up and stealing focus from the game being started?

Also, it appears that if you just shut down Windows, the settings/changes are not saved. But if you exit SimTools by clicking exit in the tray icon it saves correctly.

In DCS I'm getting heave when I increase and decrease the throttle and surge when I move the stick forwards and backwards. This seems backwards? Might they be switched in the lua?

Also is there a way for me reconnect simtools3 after hitting "stop" to make a change other than exiting and restoarting simtools?

Maybe your axis assignments are not quite right?

Just press the same banner button again to restart buddy.
    Take care!

I get the proper movement for heave and surge on the test screen in simtools. It's only in the sim.

When I press the "play" button after stop, nothing happens (no reconnection). Using the serial plugin.

I flipped the x and y in the DCS Lua and now dcs behaves as expected.

Moved on to fs2020 and have noticed that surge seems to be flipped between the ground profile and the sky profile. By this I mean that if I set the surge axis so that it works correctly on the ground, it is flipped once airborne.

Also can't reconnect to fs2020 either once I push stop, have to kill simtools and restart. Same behavior as in DCS.

Hey guys, how can I build a ground profile for DCS in V3? Looking to get surge for carrier launches/recovery.

    TIA

You can tune the ground vs air settings buy clicking the Runway vs Clouds button on the Max/Min page.

    Hello Masters !!

Do we have any tips for how the Squadrons game plugin works?
I can make it work normally in version 2.6 of simtools.
In the old version, just create a fake link using the Mklink command.
However, in Simtools 3.0, it does not work, creating or not creating Mklink.
When entering the game, simtools recognizes and activates the plugin, however Motion does not move.
    Can you help?
There is no tip on the plugin page either.
    Thanks !!
