    Hi Smitty

Firstly thank you for sharing your project with us.

Are there any measurements on the base of the simulator which in hindsight you would do differently?

You made a post about your simulator moving, on one of your crash videos you can see the thing significantly lifting from the floor.

Would you suggest making the base bigger or did you just tune down the motors to avoid this phenomenon?

    Thanks!

The base is plenty wide and heavy enough, but i have switched from flypt to DRSM https://docs.departedreality.com/dr-sim-manager

which has a really great crash detection, it pauses telemetry for a few seconds and then smoothly resumes after things have settled down. I don't have to wince as i'm about to hit something anymore, and the base doesn't hop around.

    Thanks for your quick feedback!

I'm using SimTools but I might have a look at DRSM. Looks interesting.
