Here is a clip showing the 2 blue air bladders connected ,these 2 will be positioned at my back in each side to give the sense of being pushed into the seat when slamming the throttle on the takeoff roll .

The rear air bladders fitted inside the jet pad today (the larger blue ones ,it worked out to be the best place.
I tried the seat in dcs and mfs and the feeling is fantastic .

Great progress on the g-seat! BTW, if the small ziptie in the servo arm isn't strong enough and breaks often, I've found that screwing an m3 eye hook in the servo arm would allow you to use larger zipties: www.amazon.com/Shape-Lifting-Threaded-Stainless-Fastener-30/dp/B07DGPV9L4. Another option, not quite as strong as the m3 eye hooks but stronger than the thinner ziptie alone, I've found that a small ziptie tied rather tightly through the arm and then a larger ziptie connected through the small ziptie to the wood works better than the small zipties alone. Just food for thought in case you end up breaking a lot of small zipties like I did.

I ended up drilling a larger hole in the servo arm to fit a larger zip tie ,hopefully the tie will hold .
Ive also fitted 4 small bladders on the one hinge and have the 2 hand pumps ,one on either side of the seat ,one pump does 1 blue bladder ill be will be testing today ,fingers crossed itll work .

Good afternoon

I tested the servo with 4 small air bladders on one hinge using the 65kg servo with 6v and 3 amps applied ,it works perfect .
Now you can really feel the 2 large blue bladders filling up behind your back .

I have used between 15 and 20 hand pumps on each side of the seat ,any more and the large blue ones keep the air in and dont disperse fully ,its a fine balance but it works much better than only 2 small ones in one hinge ,ive attached a few pictures .
I also found out that screwing the lower corners of each small bladder keeps them in place ,when you look from the side its a bit like a concerina bellow with the 4 attached .

Just an update on the seat -

The 2 servos are now installed and working , sqeezing 4 small bladders from one servo isnt good for the servo ,so ive reverted back to using 2 bladders ,the dcs patch didnt work , but the mfs2020 patch works a treat ,you can feel the front of the seat inflating into your back when applying the power ,before it was connected to the pot on the throttle now its taking cues from the sim .

Simtools is working great with the g seat in mfs2020 but i have a wee question .....

The response time for the heave is too slow to act .
I advance the throttle when im in the air and it takes too long for the actuator to squeeze the air bladder ,can you please tell me how to make the heave act quicker ?

The Harness arrived today for the flightsim g seat ,the quality is superb .

Im looking at using one 60kg servo connected to the 2 rear straps for surge and heave from mfs2020 .
