The first thing I really need to do next, beside tuning all settings is, add an extension plate on my current levers, now at 45 mm CC and want to go to 65 CC and a smaller range instead of the full 180 to speed things up. Ihave the 1:50 gearbox so the longer lever wouldn't be a problem as I feel it is quit light to move the rig. The balance is good. And the floorboard would be handy. I now feel like Fred Flinstone when I race in the rig..

Hopefully I can scar the plate so that it folds nicely as I want it to start at the seat on top and half way fold underneath the bars so you got some kind of basket where the pedals are to clear the heel of the foot..
Then with some maneuvering I should be able to put it in end nail it to the bars. As it is 3 to 5 mm thick I should have room to scar it instead of cutting 3 sections..

But I just have 1,5 week left before my holiday, so I am in a hurry and still want to race.. Having a ball with Grid motorsport! Loads of banging around, good fun..!!
But yes, I will finish this project. Painted and flooring .. and fur sure a video. But only when done and the movements are to my pleasing..

Next step was putting in the floor plates.. With some scarring and bending I managed to get the plate in as one piece.. perhaps not the nicest bend but even with some brute force or weight it works :) But Superb fitting and it feels and looks good right away. Too bad we have shitty weather now.. otherwise I could point the thing!

    and pictures again..
Still no welding done.. just drilling holes and popping in nails or thread bolts into them!! 14605107164_897124efc5_k.jpg 14627166983_af2ea38c19_k.jpg

Bends are alright , look good in the photos that will stop the feet from falling through, lol.
Checker Ali is a cool addition, a little sharp on bare feet but looks nice indeed.
