Hi all. Kudos to @noorbeast for originally sowing the seeds for this idea, though this is a little different from his spring heave seat mod. The step by step video series guide to build this mod for those undertaking the Doctor ADHD motion sim platform, will be released over the coming weeks. Peace out.

I was looking to see if it was possible to make a 3DOF platform with wiper motors, and I couldn't find a model that convinced me. Although yours seems a little complicated to carry out with the skills that I have, I have been amazed by the ingenuity to find a way to do it. I sincerely congratulate you and I will start to look at it in more detail to see how I can adapt what I have done to what I want to do (I have limited space for now). Thank you very much for sharing your efforts with the community.

@Daniel "Wolf" It is possible to build a 3DOF thanks to all the resources on this site and on the internet in general. If you choose the correct wiper motors, then you can have a strong and healthy 3DOF platform. You can easily make my version with a smaller footprint. Just shorten the specification and move the UNI joint to a different location than specified in my build, to get the platform balanced. Mine is built like this to compensate for my weight.

I am over 100kg and needed to put my motors a long way forward away from my weight. If you are lighter then me you can make the rig shorter, no problems. Having front mounted motors is great for the pitch and surge axis, as they really replicate a REAL CAR quite well. Heave can get a bit lost, but the seat spring modification I have added helps this a lot! Good luck on your journey mate. You can hit me up any time if you are having problems. Cheers from Australia.
