    At the moment I have a 2006 Audi A6 2.0 TDI Avant ...................................... meh

Use to have a UK2000 Subaru Impreza 2.0 Turbo but had to get sensible 15-20mpg and fuel at the time was nearly £1.50 a litre so I had to get rid. .facebook_1441870560550.jpg

    Mmmmmmm ... Gorgeous .
I'm currently driving these :grin .
Obviously my garage is full right now and my favourite one is the classic black ... it only gives 10 km per medium pizza with some soda can .

Ooh, gorgeous cars you have, @noorbeasts Supra being my favorite :) I remember seeing that image years ago somewhere... I drive this. Not a sports car by any means, but fun little thing to drive about and reasonable upkeepcosts!

I custom bent the Plexi glass Head light covers, Many of pieces were scrapped in the Attempt to do these, I also made a set of Black smoked out versions too.

Funny thing is I used to be Accused of running a Hidden Nitrous bottle on race nights, The sad thing is this was a Plain Jane 1.8l with a Simple Cold Air intake, Some Fancy Plug wires, A strait through 2.5" exhaust, 300K on the odometer and about 800lbs worth of 15" subs and amps. LOL But i guess like they say, 90% driver 10% equipment

@Nick Moxley - She's the ex for a reason! She just had this car for show really. More money than sense and a large dose of Crazy.

She got the windows tinted blacker than in the photo and would take on all comers at the traffic lights "Grand Prix" then delight in beating them, and putting her window down to let them know she was a girl!

    Hey guys,

    Some really nice cars here.

Not quite as fast as some but I had a blast learning about the mechanical side of things.

My first car, I learnt pretty much everything mechanical and electrical with this car over the years I had it.
it started as a standard 4age twin cam AE82 corolla and eventually transformed into a track day car.
When I started with the car I didn't even know what a camshaft was.

Yep, it's got that teens first car look to it. Hand made the front and rear lips by getting another bumper, flipping it upside down, cutting it down and stuck it on.

    Who needs suspension?

After a while of tinkering I eventually replaced the standard 4age engine with a 20 valve silvertop 4age engine.
Lightened flywheel, full exhaust system, modified air box with velocity stacks to move power band up in the higher rpm.

    before suspension mods
    [IMG]

Some track day fun, not the most exciting to watch but it's fun to reminisce.

Last I saw of my car was that the guy that bought it from me painted it matte black and got it defected in his first week of driving it.

My second car was two generations older than my first. It was a KE55 with a polite little 1.3 ltr 4K engine.

First thing was to give the engine a freshen up and for the lols I also gave it a lick of paint
    [IMG]

After a while of being a normal person and not doing anything drastic, I then went from this.

    To this
swapped the eninge to a 1.5ltr 5K engine, imported a 4KE intake manifold from New Zealand, bought a Haltech E6 and a windows 3.1 laptop to program it and then to top it all off I added an AMR500 supercharger with gilmer drive pulleys. I still wasn't happy so I upgraded from a 4 speed to a 5 speed box.

I did all the wiring and engine management myself. This was the very first time I had started it after completing the wiring and mechanical work. (no supercharger at this stage)
    Base tune was too rich.

    After hours of tuning/driving/re-tuning

Then finalized on a dyno, The car was lightning quick off the line but ran out of breath pretty quickly.
I loved the sound of the exhaust.

Unfortunately I don't have any videos of the supercharger in action. It took me over 6 months to get it sorted out as I had a phantom boost leak which I eventually found when I discovered that the two piece manifold fouled ever so slightly against the exhaust manifold and produced a tiny crack in the inlet manifold. After fixing the leak i tested the setup on 3psi and boy did it open up. I then changed the pulleys to get 9 psi to which shortly after, spun the main bearing.

I still had the 4k engine lying around so I popped that back in while re building the 5k engine. Because the engine tune was not set up for the 4k engine I took the path of least resistance and fitted a nikki carburetor which changed the 4k into a rev happy pygmy beast. I dare say it was quicker than the NA 5K EFI setup. But unfortunately that was the end of the line for that car as I had my first daughter on the way and the old rolla was in no shape to be carting her around so I sold it to a lovely couple who also in their first week of ownership managed to write it off smashing it into a tree. I was so pissed of as it took me ages to get the car to where it was.
All the chrome trimmings were immaculate, perfect coupe dash, imported jap cluster gauge. All of which took me over a year to hunt down. While the car isn't some collectors piece or some rare relic, it was still my car and my passion. Something that non car lovers will never understand. Something that i think that this video partly explains.

    Great video
