sure give me sometimes I am in the middle of a federal research and its crunch time. 2013 is black, c3 is white, el Camino is white and red, old Chevy truck is a street rod with flames, , t-bucket is a project that just got in a trade for one of my competition sandrail.

what is cool about my c3 is that I put c4 leather bucket seat and it changes the car completely for the best. Not even a call, it was a pain to do, because it was real tight, but it makes it a much better ride. My c3 is the one with the big motor for that year and it has an edelbrock, small mid cam. But paint job is faded. I am going to have it repainted this winter. Runs perfect though, it is a sleeper. Great car for sure, lots of fun, one of my favorite, I paid 2k and a dig dug arcade in 2007.

I've been a gearhead forever. I currently own/drive a 2014 Nissan Leaf, 2001 F150 Supercrew, 2010 Scion XB, and a 1986 Thunderbird with a 427 cubic inch engine (bored and stroked 351W). I also ride bicycles and that takes a lot of time. I'm 70 so I am required to do a little time management. lol The Leaf gets 4.9 miles/KWh. Battery held 24KWh when new, now about 18KWh. This much energy would run my house for 2 days or so. The driving cost is 10% of my other gasser vehicles. I'm going to buy a Chevy Bolt when they go for sale nationwide. Compliance vehicles nowadays.

My current steed is a Tornado Red 2015 Golf R, rather boring 300ps and AWD and still capable of around 40mpg on a steady run...cheap personal lease deal was too good to miss, so much so I've just extended it to 3rd year.

Nice - Been to plenty of Club Dyno days and for tuning, so who strapped the car to the dyno  - really.. Is it for the track or drags? - Never had the space (or if I'm honest the money) for a track only car + trailer etc - always jealous of you guys.

The first dyno run was for him to set a baseline and get a feel for how well the engine was running. He wasn't expecting so much power on the first run (235kw at the wheels) and so didn't expect so much stretch. We had a dud turbo before and it wasn't really running great so when we got a new unit the car just came alive and caught him by surprise. I suspect that the power figure will change as he dials in the correct settings as the car is running so rich that it's shooting flames from the exhaust constantly.

Fortunately for me, most of the funding has come from my brother in-law (mostly due to him liking the more shiny bits as opposed with me liking what would get us going at minimum cost).

The car is a joint project between me and my brother in-law and was bought with the intention to just stick an engine in and have some fun. We bought the car from a guy who was going overseas so he just wanted to offload it for some quick cash. All major mechanical was already done (firewall mods, Trans tunnel mods, shortened R31 turbo rear diff, shortened driveshaft, Corona Discs front end with hilux calipers, engine mounts + crossmember to suit SR20, FIA approved roll cage and the shell had only a few 10c sized surface rust spots) all for $2000. The original idea was just find the cheapest engine we could find and have some fun with it. But then we kind of got carried away with it....

So now the intent for the car is club days at the track, motorkhana, hillclimbs etc.
