Question What exactly do the sliders in the washout filter do?

    That would be great, as I suspect with the physical construction of your rig, and what I believe you want in terms of its responses, the required collective profile settings will be anything but 'straightforward'.

    I also suggest you start a specific thread, as this is really a question about how to best tune your specific rig and is getting off topic for this thread.

    This is always a good place to start buddy.
    If the return is not fast enough, adjust the top slider.
    While adjusting the bottom slider will make the output more or less active.

    to not feel the return to the center I have to set the return to -69.
    The gain is at the max.
    am I doing it right?

    Please make sure you have captured Max/Min values for the corresponding input from the game.
    I suggest setting the gain and return to 1 and 1, and adjusting the Max/Min value till you get it somewhat working, and then re-tune it in as needed with the gain and return sliders for the filter and you should be good to go.
